Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

The JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Development Client (also known as a Web Development Client, "Fat" Client, Administrative Client, Windows client, or Workstation) contains components that run as standard Microsoft Windows applications (for example, Active Console, Forms Design Aid (FDA), and Report Design Aid (RDA)) and components that run in a web browser. A "Web Client" means that it has components that run in a web browser and a "Development Client" means that it is composed of standard Windows components and Web Client. This document provides general information and assists customers in troubleshooting known issues during the installation and configuration of the Web Development Client with Tools Release 9.1.x and later.

This document can be used as a complement of the "Development Client Installation Guide" and "Deployment Server Reference Guide".
