E1: WPS: Message [This portlet is temporarily disabled] when Accessing E1 Portlet in Websphere Portal 7.0 Configured with LDAP (Doc ID 1553883.1)

Symptoms

LDAP server is configured for authenticating Portal users.  But when logging to Portal with a valid LDAP user which is also a valid user in EnterpriseOne and accessing the EnterpriseOne Portlet, it results in this message on screen:

This portlet is temporarily disabled. 


The E1ROOT.LOG from the WSRP Producer instance contains the following messages:

03 May 2013 09:07:06,758 [SEVERE]  - [JAS]              User nullSecurityToken is not Validated.Security Server return error status: 1/Unknown User
03 May 2013 09:07:06,767 [SEVERE]  - [MAFLETCONTAINER] PortletInvokerRender LoginException: null com.jdedwards.services.login.LoginException:4:The list of Environments and Roles was returned unexpectedly.


The following messages are found in the Security Kernel log:
