Purpose

Overview

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Object Management Workbench (OMW) is the primary component of the change management system for EnterpriseOne development. It is the interface that EnterpriseOne developers use day to day to create and modify EnterpriseOne applications and their supporting objects. It is also the interface that system administrators use to manage EnterpriseOne objects through their development life cycle. The JD Edwards EnterpriseOne OMW automates many of the change management activities and ensures the integrity of object modifications, for example it prevents multiple developers from simultaneously changing an object. It helps to organize a myriad of development activities and control proper object promotions to other environments or pathcodes.

This document provides an overview of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Object Management Workbench.

Scope

This document is intended for system administrators, developers, and technical consultants who are responsible for change management activities using Object Management Workbench.
