EnterpriseOne Release 9.1 with Tools Release 9.1.3. Server Manager version - 9.1.3 . When stopping the iSeries EnterpriseServer instance from Server Manager, JDE NETWORK process takes a long time to complete. The status of the instance shows as stopped in the Server Manager Console, but when you try to start it, the service does not come up. There is no error message on screen nor in the SM Agent logs for the start-up failure.
The Server Manager agent log (e1agent_0.log) shows the following when stopping the instance from Server Manager:
The iSeries User who started the SM Agent has all the required permissions assigned.
