E1: GRID: How to Configure, Create, and Manage OneView Watchlist [Video] (Doc ID 1563736.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 16, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Since Watchlist are a part of the OneView product, the use of the Watchlist feature requires licensing of OneView Foundation. Apart from licensing, watchlists do not require OVR server. Since E1 Support does not deal with Licensing, contact your Sales Account Manager for information or questions on specific licensing requirements.

Purpose

One View Watchlists represent collections of items that match user-defined criteria. They enable users to define information to which they would like to be alerted. For example, a user might want to be alerted to outstanding tasks that they need to do or thresholds that have been passed. Watchlists provide an easy way for this information to be conveyed to users.  Currently, watchlists are not setup to send email notifications or texts based on the threshold set in the watchlist.  This is included with 9.2.2.0 with enhancement <Bug 26329789> - EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS FROM WATCHLIST

If there are existing Watchlists to which you have access, you will see the Watchlists menu on the menu bar within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. When you select the Watchlist menu, a list of existing Watchlists appears. Each Watchlist represents a collection of items that match the criteria that were set up for that Watchlist. For example, Watchlists might contain expenses needing approval, batch processes in error, customers over their credit limit, and purchase order receipts past due.

Watchlists are built upon the existing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne query framework and are therefore, only supported on forms that support queries.

This document focuses on configuring the watchlists in Security Workbench (P00950) as well as creating watchlists and making it public.

One View Reporting has a separate license, but for UX One a restricted use license has been created so that customers will be able to access all of the content delivered with UX One pages at no additional charge as long as they have a license for the underlying JD Edwards module.

Review the FAQ for more details about the restricted use license for UX One.
