E1: KER: Call Object Kernels Fail on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.8 (Doc ID 1578864.1)

Symptoms

An existing development configuration for EnterpriseOne 8.12 with Tools Release 8.98.4.3 is used to create a parallel development configuration.  EnterpriseOne is running with the following:

  1. Enterprise Server is running RHEL 5.8
  2. Oracle Database version 11.2.0.2

After starting E1 Network Service, the following errors appear in the Call Object Kernel log:
  

 

Please note the use of hostname.domainname for an incorrectly set fully qualified name.
