Purpose
Overview
Some companies have gone years without managing integrity problems. Millions of records will accumulate in the Item Ledger over a period of years. If you are running the Item Balance / Ledger Integrity Report (R41544) for the first time you may be alarmed at the number of Integrity Variances. Each line in the Item Balance / Ledger Integrity Report (R41544) may occur for a different reason. The purpose of this document is as follows:
- To explain how the columns in the Item Balance / Ledger Integrity Report (R41544) are calculated.
- To explain how accuracy of Item As Of Data (F41112) affects report columns and variances.
- To explain Amount Variances in the report, their relative importance and how they can be resolved.
