Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using a Work Order Document Type other than WO and copying an existing multi-level configured Sales Order (P4210) where the Detail Branch is different to the Header branch (not Intercompany), the child work orders (F4801) will not be created.

STEPS:
======
1. Create a multi-level configuration.
2. Raise a sales order (SO) using P48013 defined to use Doc Type = WS with Header BP different to Detail BP.
3. Review work orders and note two work orders of type WS.
4. Copy the SO via P4210.
5. Review WOs and note parent WO = WS, but no child work order is created.
