R31802A Manufacturing Accounting
Tools Version 9.1 R31802A-IM Populating Unit Cost
Using mix mode functionality, Parent 07 sales/inventory and component sales/inventory cost 02.
When Percent Scrap is set up in the Bill of Materials, Manufacturing Accounting (R31802A) IM journal entries are using the unit-costs of components on a work order, not the CTS4 in the F3111 as it should per mix mode. This is occuring on IM doc types for both debit and credit.
Mix Mode processing and incorrect costs
In certain cases, mix mode processing produces incorrect costs which are posted in the GL.
1. Create a work order for a standard cost item.
2. Attach parts list & routing using R31410 (BOM contains an 02 actual cost item).
3. Issue material using P31113 . Make sure to use the existing line; adding a line does not produce the same result.
4. Run R31802A with Mix Mode Processing turned on.
The issues post as if only 1 unit was issued. For example, a component with the unit cost of 2.09 will post with a total of 2.09, regardless of how much is actually issued. If quantity 500 is issued, it should post 1045.00, instead it is posting 2.09.
To have the system post the correct amount when using mix mode processing
