Symptoms

EnterpriseOne 9.1

For configured items only, when creating a sales order (via Sales Order Entry - P4210), and populating the Ordered By field (alias ORBY) in the Sales Order Header, the system retains the value until the order is viewed again in the Sales Order Detail, and the item is reconfigured in the Configured Item Revisions (P3210). Once this is done, the ORBY field is cleared.

Note – If you inquire on the Sales Order Header first before going to the Sales Order Detail, then reconfigure the item via P3210, the system does not clear the ORBY field.
