Purpose

Overview

The Delivery Date, or Lead Time Transit Days, preference enables the automatic calculation of the Promised Delivery Date (RSDJ), Promised Ship Date (PPDJ), and/or Pick Date (PDDJ) on the sales order detail line.

The calculation for the Scheduled Pick Date to consider the Workday Calendar (P00071) on the sales order detail line has been implemented under Enhancement Bug 10872077 - ORDER PREP AND DELIVERY DATE PREFERENCE WORKDAY CALENDAR. See E1: 42: Enhancement - Order Preparation and Delivery Date Preferences Now Work in Conjunction with Workday Calendar (P00071) in Sales Order Entry (P4210) (Doc ID 2997460.1)

This preference is also applied at time of Inventory Commitments (R42997), if used in conjunction with Inventory Commitments Preference
