When Commitment Method is 3(Lot Date) and Commitment Date Method(CMDM) is set to 1(Lot Expiration Date), system checks for lots that are effective and not expired (that is a range of dates) per the required sale detail date.
However, when Item Commitment Method set to 3(Lot Date) and Commitment Date Method(CMDM) set to eg. 4(User Defined Date 1), system will only commit to lots with User Defined Date that equal to the Sale Detail Promised Delivery(RSDJ) Date. (Or system date for past promised delivery date.)
That is, system is pulling lots based on a single date only.
