P3411 PRP F4311.GLC comes from the location .
the F4311.GLC is showing the Item / Location GLC not the project GLC, this means that I will potentially have an issue with credit Orders.
This relates to consistency between different types of order generation. With P3111 the F43111.GLC comes from the Project GLC, with PRP F4311.GLC comes from the location, why the difference?
Expect no difference between P3111 and P3411.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Create H, SC item with inventory location GL CLass code .NE. to project GL Class code.
- Add to work order parts list on job cost ETO project.
- Create OP from P3111.
- Run R3482/R3483 PRP mode.
- Process OP messages from P3411. Compare F4311.GLC GL Class Code for both orders.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot get consistency in the GL CLass code for OP orders, potentially impacting the credit order.
