Information in this document applies to any platform.

Working with an application where you need to select a record in order to access Row Exit options. (Example Sales Order Detail Revisions P4210|W4210A)
When the application opened from the row exit menu is closed, the main application is returned having the record still selected.
In order to work on another record/ row , the initial one has to be manually de-selected.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open P4210|W4210A Sales Order Detail Revisions
  2. Select a record from the grid and go to Row exit -  Pricing History
  3. Close the Price History application.
  4. P4210|W4210A Sales Order Detail Revisions is returned having the record still selected.

Desired outcome - Automatically uncheck the record when closing the Row Exit  menu action

Is there a way to automatically de-select the record after the Row Exit application is closed?

No. This behaviour is working and designed and changing this will cause multiple applications to change behavior.
