E1:77: Required "DBA Print Group" French Descriptions On Pay Stubs
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 09, 2016
Applies to:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Canadian Payroll - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9.1 to 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
R77233 & R77231 do not comply with the Quebec Language legislation (Bill 101) when PDBAs are printed using a Method of Printing equal to "T" where the description is associated to a UDC 06/PC entry. The Descriptions do not print in French as requested. The reason for this is that the program uses the content of F07352 DBA or DBAR fields to look after the French description when the employee language preference is "F" however fields DBA and DBAR contains the value of 0 since they print by DBA Print Group from UDC 06/PC and therefore should look in the corresponding F0005D alternate description to retrieve the French Description. When printing a DBA by Print Group, R77231/R77233 programs still look for the 06/LF Description field 01 although this is not a DBA, but a 06/PCPrint Group.
