Last updated on JANUARY 04, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Homebuilder
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Takeoff master material records are entered and maintained at the area level, representing items and quantities needed to construct a base house for a specific plan and elevation. Material procurement may also be associated with HomeBuilder Options selected in the course of the sale.

Purpose

During the Lot Start Workfile Generation (P44H700) process, the system searches takeoff material items and quantities in matching them to Lot specific requirements.   A user may choose to establish suppliers as TBD in order to evaluate multiple proposals or allow the system to select the vendor based upon a hierarchy that is user defined.

NOTE: In the screen prints below, user details / customer name / address / email / telephone number represent a fictitious sample (based upon made up data used in the Product name test environment).  Any similarity to actual persons, living or deceased, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

Scope

This document will provide a sample foundation for developing Material master items, and introduces the setup of single and multiple items and pricing for HomeBuilder Takeoff processing by the Lot Start Workfile Generation (P44H700).
