E1: 42: Order Total (SHOTOT) Incorrect After Cancelling a Line In An Order That Is On Backorder Status. (Doc ID 1665315.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 18, 2015

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Entry - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

9.1

When cancelling a sales order that is on backorder, the Order Amount (OTOT) is not cleared out.  Dollars remain in the OTOT field after performing the cancellation.  If the order is not on backorder, the system works fine and OTOT is cleared.

P42101 and P4210 Sales order entry
To recreate problem:
1. Enter an order for an item that will backorder (full or partial).
2. Note the order total (SHOTOT) on the sales order header.
3. Go back to the order and cancel the item
4. Note how the order total (SHOTOT) did not zero out.

Repeat the same steps above and enter an order for an item that is fully available.
Note how the order total (SHOTOT) zeroes out when the item is cancelled.
