Symptoms

P01012 is giving error 0354 "SSN or Other Employee No. Already Exists" when a new dependent or beneficiary (new address number, Search Type Q) is added when called from P08901 Dependent/Beneficiary Entry.  Even when the P0100041 Address Book MBF -PO (for N0100041) Edits tab is set to not validate for duplicate tax ID.

 

Steps:

  1. Add an employee using SSN 123456789
  2. Since the employee is also a dependent. FP to P08901 and add a dependent using the same SSN 123456789 and error 0354 is issue
