E1: MOBJ: Media Object Viewer Add - File Screen Takes a Long Time To Show (Doc ID 1674377.1)

Symptoms

ISSUE 1:

When using Media Object Viewer to add a File Attachment (i.e. P01012 > Row > Attachments >File)
The "Select Local File" option takes long time to appear.



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. On the web client, fast path to P01012.
  2. Find a record.
  3. Go to Row > Attachments.
  4. Click on File attachment option
  5. Wait for the "Select Local File" option to appear.

 

ISSUE 2:

In 9.2.X tools release, Media Object is slow to show the "Media Object Viewer Add - File" screen after pressing the "FILE" icon

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In any application. Example, P01012
  2. Click Row Exit Attachments
  3. In Media Object Viewer, click on the File Icon.
  4. Wait. A long time, like 30-60 seconds.
  5. After that everything works fine (including queue selection and drop down menu, local file upload etc.) 

It is also observed that after selecting the radio button for Select Local File, it can again go blank as seen in the first screen print above.

 

ISSUE 3:

In 9.2.X tools release, Media Object is slow to show the "Media Object Viewer Add - File" screen after pressing the "FILE" icon. If user click on the "FILE" icon a second time, the screen goes blank.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In any application. Example, P4310
  2. Click Row Exit Order Attachments
  3. In Media Object Viewer, click on the File Icon. There is no response on the first click of the "FILE" icon.



  4. Second Click on "FILE" icon, it goes to blank screen as shown below.



  5. Click "Home" under Open Applications.



  6. Click back the P4310 application under Open Applications.



  7. Now the "Media Object Viewer Add - File" screen is shown.
