E1: 43: Disallow Supplier Catalog (P41061) Overlapping Effective Dates (Doc ID 1676619.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement and Subcontract Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

If either of the Effective Dates ("From" or "Thru") on an existing row in table F41061 is modified, so as to create overlapping effective dates, application Supplier Catalog (P41061) does not return any error. For example if for a given Branch, Supplier, Catalog and Item, there are 3 rows, with effective dates 1/1/14 thru 5/15/14, 5/16/14 thru 5/31/14 and 6/1/14 thru 12/31/14. The second row can be modified to have an Effective Thru date of 6/15/14, thus overlapping the effective date of the third row, and no error message is returned.
