Applies to:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Bulk Stock Inventory - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Department of Transport D.O.T. specifications require that the 'Basic Description' needs to be on the shipping paper work.
Basic Description (§172.202) is described as follows and comes from the Hazardous Materials Table (HTM):
1) Identification Number (UNNA)
2) Proper Shipping Name ( NOT IN JDE - here is the issue )
3) Hazard Class (HZDC)
4) Packing Group (PKGP)
- Example on BOL: UN1830,SULFURIC ACID,8,PGII
Problem is there is no field designated for the Proper Shipping Name (Requirement 2).
We request a field in W4101D Storage/Shipping specifically for the 'Proper Shipping Name' which is a requirement for Hazardous Material Shipments .
