E1: 12: Net Book Value (NBV) Rule Not Recognizing Element 64 When Adjustments Are Made In Prior Periods (R12855) (Doc ID 1680215.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 23, 2015

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets - Version 9.0 to 9.0 [Release 9.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Created a rule that should take the NBV and divide it by the Remaining Life Months. There are adjustments to Cost and Accumulated Depreciation in the prior periods. When depreciation is run in a period that does not have the adjustments, the system doesn't use element 64 to calculate the period depreciation.  It takes the entire basis in the current period.
