E1: 04: R04572T2 Should Automatically Increment File ID Modifier If Run On Same Day (Doc ID 1684104.1)

Last updated on MAY 31, 2016

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The File ID Modifier is a one-character file identification modifier used for the CTX payment format created by UBE 'Create A/P Bank Tape - CTX Format' (R04572T2). This modifier is used to differentiate between multiple CTX files created on the same date on the tape. You can use any alphanumeric character, but if you enter more than one character, only the first character is used. The default value is 1.

Currently R04572T2 does not automatically update the File ID Modifier if more than one CTX payment is created on the same day.
