Last updated on SEPTEMBER 17, 2015

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

R89078502 (ADP Quarterly File TC) / P078504 (ADP Local Codes)

ADP has a requirement for certain tax areas (i.e. Louisville, KY and Indiana geocodes) to retrieve different 4-digit Local ADP codes depending on if the employee working in that tax area is a resident or non-resident of the tax area. For instance when an employee works in Louisville if they also LIVE IN Louisville then the ADP code should be 1801, but if they LIVE OUTSIDE of Louisville then the code should be 1861. Currently the system retrieves the F078504 (ADP Local Code) data item DL02 (ADP Work-In Code) value first, and only if there is no value found will the DL01 (ADP Work-In & Live-In Code) value be retrieved.
