P3210 - Configured Item Revisions
Currently, there is no option in Configurator to have the total leadtime of a top configured parent item calculated dynamically for a certain configuration (based on the answers of each segment), on-the-fly, at the time the item is defined in the Configured Item Revisions (P3210). There is a need to have the system using the details of the children and routes inserted on a certain configuration, by checking all the P, Q and R AIRs defined, along with the Ordered Quantity and the Fixed or Variable leadtime flag.
The end-result is to warn the users about the required total lead time necessary to complete a certain configuration, possibly by having a hard-coded Hot Spot value defined in P3210 to show this calculated lead-time value.
The total leadtime should be passed back to the calling application (P4210, P48013, P4310) in order that this applications could warn the users if the dates specified don't meet this leadtime.
