E1: 75Z NZ Annual Leave Rate Should Not Use OWP In Comparison (Doc ID 1905926.1)

Last updated on JULY 13, 2016

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Australia/New Zealand Payroll - Version 8.12 to 8.12 [Release 8.12]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The leave rate calculation (N75Z0008) comparison checks for the higher of AWE, OWP and currently hourly rate for deriving the hourly rate to use for annual leave type PDBA (75/LT second description = 'ANN').

OWP should NOT be used in this comparison and based on current legislation should use the higher of Average Weekly Earnings (calculated over a 52 week basis) and EE's current hourly rate for annual leave types.
System is calculating an incorrect Hourly rate for the NZ holiday pay type   ANN . OWP calculation is incorrect and this leads to the incorrect hourly   rate derivation for the holiday pay type ANN.     There are 2 scenarios to be addressed   1. An employee who has worked for 52 weeks(one year) prior to the leave date   2. An employee who has worked less than 52 weeks prior to the leave date
