Goal
In case of barcode devices:
1. After creating PO, during receipt (P4312), can the system cross validate item number by bar code device in P4312 application?
2. After creating SO, can the system validate item no by bar code device during confirm shipment?
Item number is captured at the time of order entry, is there any solution available in JDE to cross validate item number with bar code device?
Business scenario:
Need to implement barcode solution as the customer is into food and catering business where they are dealing with bar code based item on a daily basis.
There has been many cases items being dispatched wrongly in absence of validation of item number by bar code device at the time receipt and dispatch.
