E1: 31A: Unable To Use Employee Labor Rate From F060116 For Actual Cost WO (Doc ID 1910520.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2016

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

For Actual Cost Work Orders Only:

Currently the Manufacturing Constants (P3009) only give the options to pull labor rate source from the Work center rates (F30008) or the Employee Labor Rate Table (F00191)

The request is to add a new Labor Rate Source Value of "3" in the P3009 Manufacturing Constants, Costing Options Tab for Actual Costing.  The new option would allow for the source of labor rates to be fetched from Employee Master file (F060116).  Labor Rate Source values of "1" and "2" would still fetch the labor rate as indicated in Oracle documentation and the Item Help for the data field i.e. F30008 and F00191.  If the Manufacturing Constants - Labor Rate Source is set to the newly enhanced option of  "3" and the employee does not have an Hourly Rate setup in the Employee Master file (F060116), the Time Entry application(s) i.e. P051121 or P311221 should return a hard-error stating required setup is missing.
