E1: BSSV Provider Test Using SoapUI after Tools Release 9.1.4.x - No Errors in the BSSV log (Doc ID 1913469.1)

Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

This issue could happen with Weblogic 10.3.6 or 12.1.2.0.

When attempting to test a standard Published Business Service(BSSV) using soapUI, it fails with usernameToken error or the below error:

      <env:Fault>
         <faultcode>env:Server</faultcode>
         <faultstring>Unknown exception, internal system processing error.</faultstring>
      </env:Fault>

But, there is no log generated after the below statement in the BSSV e1root.log -

[BSSVFRAMEWORK]    [Context ID: ]    [E1LoginModule: wlsLogin] Creating E1Principal from user and password.

- Also, after deploying the business service package for the first time, it may have not created the E1BSSVAuthenticatorV2, and therefore it was created manually from the WLS console.

Changes

Upgraded from 9.1.3 to 9.1.4.x, but could also happen on a new install.
