E1: 41: Enhancement Request to Avoid P41002 UOM Conversion Conflicting Error ID 3351 (Doc ID 1918362.1)

Last updated on MARCH 12, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Inventory Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Under the current design of the P41002, Item Unit of Measure Conversion, validation is done on all units of measure conversions back to primary. Under the current design, users can only enter values that extend to 7 decimals in the Conversion Factor field. The problem arises when the user attempts to enter a From UoM conversion in the P41002 that results in a mathematical calculation that does not round to a value that falls within the allotted 7 decimal places. If it falls outside 7 decimals due to rounding, then Error 3351, UOM has Conflicting Conversion Factors, is displayed and the conversions cannot be saved.
