This is a case study document.  It is not meant to encompass all possible scenarios of commit failed error. In this example, major applications P4210 (Sales Order Entry), P4310 (Purchase Order) end in Commit Fail error after copying business data and control tables into newly a created data source. In other applications such as Address Book (P01012) no errors are encountered.

Created a new data source (library) for same pathcode and default tables are mapped to this data source through OCM mapping.
