E1:42: Product Allocation Preference Error Disappear On Change Qty/Branch Plant With Inventory Commitment Pref (P42101/P4210) (Doc ID 1927087.1)

Symptoms

Sales Order Entry (P42101/P4210)

Setup and turned on Preference Profile for Product Allocation and Inventory Commitment Preference at P4210 processing option. There are 2 issues :
1. Preference Type 07-Product Allocations
Warning message `Product Allocation Preference Error' was initially issued,when changed the quantity to a higher value, the warning goes off.

2. Preference Type 39-Product Allocation (Branch)
Warning message `Product Allocation Preference Error' was initially issued,when changed the branch plant to another value but was defined in
P40070-Preference Master, the warning goes off.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Issue 1:
1. Setup P40070 - Work With Preference Master, Preference Type 07-Product Allocations.
2. Setup Preference type 06-Inventory commitment.
3. P42101-create sales order, processing option->Versions tab, call a version of P4210.
4. Processing option of P4210 version called, Order Holds tab, Product Allocation Hold code set as PA.
5. Processing option Commitment tab, option Activate Availability Checking is turned on.
6. Processing option Preference tab, options Preference Profile Processing, Inventory Commitment Preference are turned on.
7. The version of R40400 called from P4210, its processing options, Product Allocation is turned on.
8. At P42101, create a sales order that exceed the Product Allocation Quantity Limit, system gives warning `Product Allocation Preference Error'.
9. Changed the quantity to a higher value, note the warning message `Product Allocation Preference Error' is gone.
Issue 2 :
10. Now set P40070 for Preference Type 39-Product Allocation (Branch).
11. At P42101, create a sales order that exceed the Product Allocation Quantity Limit, system gives warning `Product Allocation Preference Error'.
12. Change the Branch Plant, note the warning message `Product Allocation Preference Error' is gone even branch plant is defined in P40070-Preference
Master, the warning goes off.
