E1: 42: Unexpected Results When Sales Order Entry(P4210) is Used to Copy Non-Like Order Types to Create New SOs (Doc ID 1927290.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 16, 2015

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Processing - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The system works fine when the same document type order is copied, for example when an SO is copied to create an SO. When a non-like document type is used to create a sales order, SO, unexpected results occur.  No warning messages are displayed alerting the user to unpredictable results.

The recommendation is to only to copy an order from its own order type, such as SO to SO, instead of copying SOs from a different doc type.
