E1: 31B: Provide Composition Changes in Additive Operations For Formula Based Wines (Doc ID 1928211.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 10, 2015

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Blend Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

For large production sites that are producing formula wines there is a legal requirement to capture in the composition, any liquid that is added.  This includes but is not limited to:
• Water
• High Fructose Syrup
• Flavorings

Current JDE Blend Management allows for raw materials to be added to an existing wine lot in 2 ways:
1. Additives – Allows for Blend Lot Quantity increase but does not update bulk material in composition.  The gain is proportionately spread.
2. Bulk Purchase (BOL) and Receive to Tank (R2T) to bring inventory into blend, then a move operation to move bulk to wine. Composition will be updated by the system.

Request the following:
Modify the Additive base operations (Tank and Barrel) to allow changes to Composition records to allow users to add composition records when adding raw materials to formula based wines.
This modification would involve the creation of a new ADDT & ADDB base operation that allows Composition and Composition Material type changes.

Users, in addition to creating Additive operations per standard ADD operations (the blend lot Quantity can be updated), the users must be able to add composition record for bulk material.
Additional configuration will be required for Source Type, Composition Material Type, Material Type, Variety and EUR’s.
