Last updated on AUGUST 20, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9.1 to 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Text attachments were switched to use the html format rather than the RTF attachments created when using activeX controls by changing the SupportActiveXIE ini setting to false in Server Manager.

Instead of using the conversion program P98MOHTM for everything, users are accessing existing text attachments and selecting to accept the conversion.  During the conversion process special characters like the euro sign, Czech characters or Chinese / East Asian characters are not converting correctly. For example the euro sign is coming as Ђ .

Note: Some of the other language characters that are affected are,

Russian, EastEurope, Greek, Turkish, Baltic, Hebrew, Arabic, Japanese and Korean
