Symptoms

Service Level Rules Update (R4277705)

Service Level Rules Update (R4277705) Processing Option #1 (Bypass service level rule resolution for sales order lines with existing service level rules) is set to 1 (Bypass), but the program is still processing lines that already had a service level rule previously attached.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Service Level Rules Update (R4277705) Processing Option #1 (Bypass service level rule resolution for sales order lines with existing service level rules) is set to 1 (Bypass).
  2. Create Service Level Rules for a Customer.
  3. The version of SO Entry (P4210) processing options on Fulfillment Tab #2 (Resolve Service Level Rules) is set to blank (NO).
  4. Create Fulfillment Management Sales Orders.
  5. Run Service Level Rules Update (R4277705).
  6. The PDF report output shows the number of lines processed.
  7. Verify that Service Level Rules tables (F4277701 and F4277711) are populated for the order.
  8. Now run Service Level Rules Update (R4277705) again with the same data selection.
  9. The report output shows the same lines were processed again. They were not bypassed.
