Self Service Notify Shipment P4312S
DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM
When a supplier uses P4312S to update a PO based on a partial quantity shipment notification, the shipped quantity line moves to the next status as expected. However, the remaining quantity that did not ship creates a new
split line on the purchase order where the Container ID and Actual Ship Date are incorrectly populated based on the first notification.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. P4310 Create a purchase order for notification. Advance to appropriate Next Status for use with self service notification/receipts P4312S.
2. P4312S Notify a partial quantity populating Shipment Identifier (Container ID) and Shipment Date. This will split the PO line.
3. F4311/P4310/P4312S - The new split line that has not shipped already has values in Container ID and Ship Date based on the first notification.
Container ID and Ship Date should only populate for the original line/quantity where notification has occurred. Container ID and Ship Date should remain blank for the new split line with the quantity that has not yet shipped.
