RCW06(Allocation/Delivery Proposal) is used to automatically calculate and allocate quantity to Sales Order based on an algorithm. Sometimes users need to reset the above commitment on some items in an order and perform manual allocation. As explained in the Apparel Implementation Guide (Section Performing Manual Allocations), manual allocation is done using Shipment Confirmation program (P4205) where system hard commits the allocated quantity calculated manually for the item . The processing option is set to not relieve On Hand Inventory.

This is where the program is insufficient because Shipment Confirmation program (P4205) does not have a matrix form that displays how much quantity is available for allocation. Quantity available for allocation is calculated as Available Quantity + Soft Committed quantity if availability definition(Branch plant constants/P41001) is set to deduct soft committed quantity from available quantity.
