E1: 43C: Ability to Define Payment Accelerations or Deferrals on the Contract (Doc ID 1937995.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 06, 2015

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Grower Pricing and Payments - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Require the ability to define Payment Accelerations or Deferrals on the Contract, that are subsequently used to modify the scheduled Payment amounts, based on outstanding balances of Acceleration or Deferral. These would be applicable to only 1 Payee on a multiple Payee Contract.  Payment amounts are calculated at the regularly scheduled Payment dates, according to the Contract Terms, however, any Acceleration amount, or requested Deferral will be used to reduce the scheduled Payment.  Accelerations must be "repaid" before the Final Settlement Payment.  Deferrals may be paid at any appointed date in the future, at the discretion of the Grower.  Acceleration and Deferrals are linked to G/L Balance Sheet entries to hold these amounts, and the Grower Accounting is processed normally on the Scheduled Payment date(s).
