E1: 49: P4915 Approve Shipment - Hard Coded Next Status On Back Order Split Line (Doc ID 1940651.1)

Last updated on JULY 05, 2016

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Transportation Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Current functionality when approving a shipment that has a partial back order
associated with it is to split the detail line into a shippable line and add
a second F4211 detail line for the back ordered quantity.  The last status of
the back ordered line is assigned a 900 status.  However, the next status
remains at the same status it was at before performing the approval (the next
status does not change).  Client would like a processing option which would
allow them to control the next status on the back ordered split line created
by the P4915 approval.
..
Workaround is to control the next status of the back order line when it is
released from back order.  There is a processing option in the P42117 back
order release program for the Next Status.  It is in the Defaults tab.
