E1: 47: Batch Processing Mode EDPM Not Validated For All EDI UBES (Doc ID 1942245.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne EDI - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

E1 All Releases

With the exception of R47011, all EDI ubes ignore the EDI Batch Processing
Mode setting in the Supplier Master and Customer Master and process
regardless of this setting. All EDI UBEs should validate this flag in the
customer master or supplier master (depending on the UBE) and process the UBE
according to this setting.
Using data selection for all UBEs requires much more maintenance than simply
setting up the settings in the supplier master and or customer master.  The
customer master should validate P40131 (EDI Transaction Cross Reference) and
there should be a similar validation on the supplier master with the P40131
transaction cross reference.  EDI Transaction Cross Reference P40131 (Doc ID
1913612.1)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
==================
1. Set the batch processing mode to I in the Customer Master or Supplier
Master.
2. With the exception of R47011, run any inbound our outbound system 47 UBE.
3. The UBE processes the customer or supplier regardless of the Inhibited
setting.
