For employees that the calculated retro pay rate matches the rate found on the historical timecard, the logic will bypass creation of a new timecard. During the exception reporting, the system recognizes that no timecard was created and gives the appropriate message that no timecard has been created. Next, it attempts to retrieve the error message that caused the timecard to not be written. The problem is, no true error has been set. The timecard was not created due to the rules in place to generate retro pay.
