E1: 45: Free Goods Incorrect When Backordering In Ship Confirm (Doc ID 1955479.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing - Sales - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

An order line is entered for a stock item, which causes 2 free good lines to be added. The free goods are nonstock items. In ship confirm, all 3 lines are partially shipped, with the remaining quantities backordered. R42950 is then run to recalculate the free goods lines. The original free good lnes are cancelled as expected, but it does not add the replacement lines for the free goods.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enter an order for x quantity of a stock item, causing two non-stock free good lines to be applied. The free goods have the same quantity as the original line.
2. In ship confirm, partially ship the lines. The lines split on the order as expected.
3. Run R42950 with processing options set to update the free goods. The original FG lines are cancelled, but new ones are not generated.
