E1: 44H: + Wildcard for Community Not Accepted on Add or Change

Symptoms
When trying to add a new record in Material Item Pricing the Community field in the header errors out on a wildcard. Additionally on an Material Item Pricing record that is already in the system if you select a record with a '+' in the Community field you also get the same error as on the add that the business unit is invalid.
Error ID: 3091 - Business Unit Number Invalid
CAUSE: This business unit number does not exist in the Business Unit Master file (F0006).
RESOLUTION: Enter a valid business unit number or add the business unit number to the Business Unit Master file (F0006).
