E1: SEC: Web Server Logs Reporting System USERID's different Than Fat Client Logs (Doc ID 1959557.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 27, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

EnterpriseOne web server logs show database queries being directed to system ID other than JDE, while fat client logs show JDE as system ID.

Expected Query should point to "JDE" owner, but the jde logs show an ID of "JDEProxy", which is a System ID for a specific group of users at the client site.

Why are the web client logs reporting the "JDEProxy" userid in database calls (in the web based EnterpriseOne logs) and not "JDE" userid as the system userid?

Impact - No users effected.
