E1: 30: Display Decimal Problem In P30204 Between Quantity 1 and Quantity 2 Gives Incorrect BOM Difference (Doc ID 1961152.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 16, 2015

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Product Data Management - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

P30204 Bill of Material Comparison

When using the BOM comparison program P30204 - differences are being highlighted due to the decimals not being read to 6 places in both Quantity colums.

Bills are identical. Note the display Quantity Item 1 with 4 decimal places = .0000 while Quantity Item 2 displays with 6 decimal places = .000005 and therefore the Comparison sees this as a BOM Difference.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Both columns should use the same decimal display values and then the rows would not be considered as different.
