E1: 07: Incorrect Tax Records Being Written When Employee Lives And Resides In Different States. P0801US (Doc ID 1961481.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 11, 2016

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The F07353 is populated with the residence state taxes when the employee resides in one state but works in another.  When an employee is set up in the National and Fiscal Data screen (P0801US) with the Residency Status field (WSPS) populated with a W as working in one state but residing in another the taxes for the residence state calculate incorrectly.  (They should not calculate in this instance.)
