E1: 17: Service Labor Detail Allows Duplicate Operation Sequence (Doc ID 1963609.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 23, 2015

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Service Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

According to enhancement Bug 10962826, SWM Work Orders should allow detail records with duplicate operation sequence numbers given that service orders are different in nature than manufacturing work orders. As long as the work centers are different, the same SWM work order can have different labor detail lines with the same operation sequence number. However, there is an issue with Work Order Time Entry, P311221. When entering time for a SWM work order that has duplicate operation sequences, there is no way to choose which work center to use for the rate on the time entry record.

The request is to either do not allow duplicate operation sequence numbers or add a processing option to the Labor Detail program to either allow or not allow duplicate operation sequence numbers.
