E1: 43: Enhancement Request to Provide a Way for Order to be Approved if Line is Canceled; Maintain Visibility in the Status Summary Form W43081C
(Doc ID 1967326.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 03, 2023
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement and Subcontract Management - Version 9.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
If a line that has been previously approved is later cancelled, a new message is created for the approver to reapprove the order. This is correct. The message appears in the P43081, Orders Awaiting Approval.
However, the approver cannot reapprove the order. Due to the status of the line, the Form exit for Approve is not available for the Approver. The only way the approver can clear the message is to use the Remove Message Row Exit.
If the message is removed using this Row Exit, the order is no longer visible in the Status Summary Form W43081C. This Status Summary form is the only way that users who do not have access to the database can review the order to see what has happened for
approvals.
