Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Issue seems to be specific to Tools Release 9.1.5

When creating the user override (grid format), when you update the style to use a different color, the selected Column / Text color does not preview in the Selected Column field until you save and edit the override. If you create a second color style change, it sees the same issue, but then after you exit and come back in, the preview color is the same as the first color set, instead of the different color that was selected. However, when accessing the application grid itself, both colors display correctly on the form. It only occurs in the override form.

Steps to duplicate:

  1. Log into E1
  2. Fastpath to an application such as P01012 Address Book
  3. Press Find
  4. Select to create a new grid format
  5. Under the display and order, highlight the first data item
  6. In the Color section, select a color (blue for example) and click on Update Style
  7. The Selected Column field in the color section does not update with the selected color
  8. Save the override and return to the form, column displays with the correct color
  9. Go back into the grid format
  10. Highlight the same data item, can see the Selected Column shows the correct color
  11. Select the next data item in the list
  12. Repeat steps 6-9 (select red for example)
  13. Highlight the second data item in the list, it displays the same color as the first item instead of the different color that was selected
